Bowen Therapy is a non-invasive bodywork therapy that stimulates the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and promotes neuromuscular re-patterning. The ANS regulates 80% of the body’s functions and is chronically over-stimulated in most people; sometimes due to trauma, and often in response to the cumulative pressures of everyday living in a stressful world. These stresses can create imbalances in the body which lead to pain and chronic conditions.

This 40-minute session (10 min assessment and 30 min treatment) is designed for new patients that allows for a thorough assessment, a gentle integration into NFR and a treatment plan designed around your medical history to meet your goals. Please dress as if you were going to the gym, you will be clothed for your appointment/treatment.

Works on connective tissue which is 1000x more sensitive than muscle, in order to stimulate your brain to regulate movement, pain and inflammation.
